Reading T2 Week 2 2021

 

Hi my name is Brooklyn and for this weeks Reading work this is what i did.

for reading this week i read some books and found out the unknown words 

that i found in the books i read. I also did some other things like find out what

the meaning of the words were. But for reading this week it is mainly about

what our hobbys are and we had to choose the hobbys from the books.

1. In WWll there were about 75 million people killed.

2. The oldest person in WWll was called Lawrence brooks and died when he was 111.

3. WWll started in Europe on September 1st.

4. There was about 2,500 planes in WWll.

5. In WWll the last country to surrender were japan and the solider surrendered in 1974.

6. WWll Started and finished from 1939-1945.

7. The first German serviceman killed in war were killed by Japanese.

8. Over 100,000 allied bomber crewman were killed over Europe.

9.In WWll the youngest serviceman in the us military was Calvin graham -age 12. he lied about his age when he enlisted in the us navy. his real age was not discovered after he was wounded.

10.New Zealand declared war on Germany at 9:30 pm on the 3rd September 1939.

Features of a Community

 

Hello my name is Brooklyn and this is my topic for this week. for topic we

had to do some stuff like finding where our favorite places are on a map,

and write what we think Community means. I thought Community means 

that if people needed help people could help each other. and say a interview to 

someone else.

Brooklyn Week 6 Reading

 

Hi my name is Brooklyn and today i will be sharing with you my outer space

slide for reading. for reading this week we did the topic as outer space.

For the reading i read the books and listened to some story's and made

my own planet and unscrambled words in my book. i had to also read a little

story and find out the words that Im stuck with and dont really know what they

mean.

Ancient korea

Imagine going back to Ancient Korea. It would be very different from now .I have always wondered what they ate in Ancient Korea to what they eat now. It would be so cool to see all the old buildings and the designs on the buildings. They could have warn pretty dresses and cool hairstyles. Back then school would also be different Because they didn't have technology. They would have had the Chinese fans that use to flip out. Then men use to wear these big clothes that looked like robes. There building designs would have these unique designs to the roof and on the walls. There Jewelry and crowns would be gold and shiny. You would see colorful lanterns everywhere with Chinese or Korean writing on it when you go to the lantern festivals

Today for my work i did a slide about weather and some maths and writing.

But for writing i did a poem. i also created a weather journal on paper and

you write what the weather is like.

Today for my learning i did a weather poem. I had to take a photo of one

of the plants in our backyard. and them we had to use that photo as an

example for our poem.
